Samantha helping Daddy make salsa. Joe makes the best salsa! Samantha loves to press the button on the food processor. Joe is so patient with her. I love him so much for being such a good Daddy. I hope Samantha remembers these special times when Daddy lets her help him make salsa.
Samantha asking for a "Fam-i-ly Hug!" Nothing warms your heart like your baby girl asking her parents to hug her. A sweet sweet moment!
Daddy teaching Sam how to throw a ball. They were playing fetch with Reggie and I overhear Joe telling Samantha, "not like that baby, pull your arm back..." Aaah, music to my ears. Our daughter will know how to throw a ball NOT "like a girl"!
Samantha saying, "no no Reggie" while holding her cracker in front of his nose. Such a tease!
Samantha hiding in her tent yelling, "peek-a-boo...peek-a-boo!" I guess I'm supposed to play. Of course I did.
Daddy teaching Samantha sound effects when "drinking" tea. Samantha made special tea today. It included farm animals. So today we had "piggy tea" or "goat tea" and her favorite, "horsey tea". It was hot, we had to blow on it before we drank. Daddy taught her to make slurping sounds when drinking. Haha! Very cute!
Snuggles! We had a tired girl today and got lots of loves and snuggles. "Snuggly hug", she said as she wrapped her arms around me. It's not often our toddler sits still for long. Daddy enjoyed snuggles too while drinking juice and watching Thomas.Rocking my baby to sleep. Today was one of those days when she needed mommy to help her fall asleep. I reveled in the moment...I know there won't be too many more of these. I enjoyed the smell of her baby shampoo, the feel of her warm body snuggled against my chest, and the sound of her sleepy breathing. Aaaah, still my baby...
Thank you God for my Sweet Family and this Sunday to enjoy one another.

Sounds like a perfect Sunday to me!
