I don't have any pictures in this post. Weird I know, but today was a lazy, stay at home, kind of Sunday. Oops, I just gave away that we skipped church! Anyways, I didn't put on a bit of make-up today, Samantha's hair was falling out of a ponytail all day, and we all wore comfy hangin' at home clothes. Therefore, no pics but I still had to post because today was cool and Samantha was a joy!
It was a pretty day and I was bent on cleaning my house from top to bottom. My parents are coming to visit in a few days and I needed to clean. The gorgeous sunshine called Sam and I outside though. She rode her golf cart, scooter, and bike in the front yard. The neighbor girl came over and her and Sam played "bouncy ball" and rode bikes. The weather was perfect and we all soaked up some Vitamin D.
Finally, the game was about to start. I'm still not used to the 2 hour time difference for football games out here. In CA, Super Bowl was an afternoon thing but here it doesn't start until evening. Anyways, Daddy turned on the TV and he and I were ready to watch the game. Samantha announces to us, "It hurts my ears when you turn football on!" Bahaha! Oh sweet girl, if you only knew how much Mickey Mouse Clubhouse (over and over) hurts ours!
I went out to bring burgers home for dinner and after dinner Samantha got to enjoy a strawberry shake. I think it was the first time she's had one. After her first sip I asked her if she like it. "Yum!" she said as she rubbed her belly. It was so cute! Then I taught her not to drink too fast so she wouldn't get a brain freeze. She would say, "Time to take a bweak! Don't wanna get a headache!"
The half time show was Beyonce and Destiny's Child. She was great! Samantha and I danced around the living room. I told her, "Watch the lady and dance like her!" Samantha got into it and moved her little feet and shook her body. Seriously, this child has moves and kept Joe and I smiling as we watched her get down on her dance floor.
It was a perfect family day. We relaxed, we cleaned, we ate good food, and watched football. We enjoyed eachother as a family. Happy day.
Sounds sweet!
