Samantha has learned the song London Bridge. Her favorite time to play this game is when I'm in the kitchen cooking. She'll squeeze between my legs singing "London bwidge is fawling down, fawling down, fawling down..." Well, the other night she was making "London Bwidges" with her food at dinner. Then it "broked" and she wants me to "fix it". Hmmm, no Mommy just wants you to eat your dinner!
After a jog around Lake Murray, I decided I needed a little treat. I drove through Starbucks and bought myself a frappuccino. Mmmm, it had been a long time since I'd had one of those. In the backseat, Samantha could see me enjoying my treat. "Mama, have a sip?" I answered, "No baby, it's mama's coffee." Samantha replied, "It's gotta stwaw!" Guess I can't fool her!
I took Samantha to Target with me in search of some sweat shirts she could wear to daycare. I chose one and handed it to Samantha to put in the cart. She immediately handed it back to me, "I don't like it!" What? My two year old has her own fashion sense?
It was cold out so I was wearing a beanie. As I was putting Samantha into her carseat she reaches for my hat, "Mama's hat is cool!"
Samantha has turned into such a sweetheart and her imagination is growing. Lately she has been mommying her baba. She snuggles the bunny close to her chest and pats it on the back saying, "oh sweet baba...baba is cwying...poor baba...shhh"
Her new favorite word this month is "beautiful". She pronounces it perfectly too. "Mama, that's a beautiful Chismas tree!", "Those lights are so beautiful!", "It's a beatiful moon!", and my favorite "This is a beautiful Walmart mama!" Haha, I cracked up over that one!
It's official, the babies have names. She doesn't play with baby dolls much yet, but she does have two of them that she will play with occassionaley. Well, they finally have names. Isaac and Jazzy. They are both girl babies by the way, Isaac is the pink one!
She is sounding more and more like a big girl this month. Instead of the usual "Nooooooo" when she doesn't like something, she says, "I don't like it."
Lately all of her sentences end with "mama?" and sound like a question. "I pway with trains, mama?", "I have some juice, mama?", "Dat's a cute horsie, mama?"

She is so sweet!
