2 and a half years...a fun July!

It just amazes me how much Samantha has grown over the last few months. It will feel like everything is going along the same and then all of a sudden she will switch things up! I have tried this summer to keep up with her interests as well as introduce her to new experiences.
Her vocabulary and thought processes have dumbfounded Joe and I on occasion. Just last night she was talking about how she likes buzzing bees and how they live in a hive and make honey. Wow! Where did she learn that? Obviously this kid soaks up everything she sees and hears.
Her imagination is continuing to grow. At times she lives in her own fantasy world and she could be a number of characters - a kitty or dog, Daisy Duck, Huey, Doctor Sammie, etc. It's lots of fun playing make beleive with her.

I tried to do some imaginative activities this summer. Here is a block of ice with toys frozen in it and Sam had to pound them out with a hammer. She liked it and was entertained for all of 20 minutes!

Another "cool" SAHM activity - a balance beam. We pretended there were alligators and we couldn't fall off the bridge or they would get us!!!
Daddy and Samantha made up a fun game with the blanket. At first, she got to ride on it and then it was Daddy's turn!

We are experiencing real rains storms for the first time. Samantha thinks they are great! She loves the rain and is not a bit scared of the thunder. We talk about how God makes the thunder and lightning. Reggie doesn't like it as much though!
 She loves tea parties!
 So peaceful when asleep.
We had quite a few fun days at the pool. My beautiful bathing baby!
"Goin on a benchure!"
 Helping Daddy
 Looking pretty in "make-ups"
"What happened?" "I fwew my fwiends on da floor and den I pwayed wif dem!" I guess it is a no nap day!
She has to ride Daddy's leg to her bedroom every night.
